At the end of November the Katschberger Advent Trail will open for visitors from near and far.
The Advent-Journey Katschberg (Adventweg Katschberg) is a 2.4 km loop trail, which is accessible only by foot. Reachable via the “way of the senses” with the sleigh from Alpengasthof Bacher or walk in about 45 minutes (2.2 km). A shuttle takes visitors from the valley Rennweg and St. Michael. With your own car to the Katschberghöhe– adequate parking on P1 available. From P1 to Alpengasthof Bacher there are stops to the sleigh.

Special features of the Advent-Journey Katschberg
Soft melodies of alphorns. The Advent-Journey Katschberg is illuminated with countless, large lanterns. For even more romantic mood little hand lanterns are hired to the visitor at the starting point.
Along the route there are lovely renovated barns for to a short visit. So visitors can have a look at the craft of an art smith, or make your own teddy bear in the teddy manufacture. Sing together with choirs from the region, singing carols or listen to Christmas stories from the storyteller.
Along the way there are iron stoves. Special teas are cooked in the ovens and can be found for free, provide warmth from inside.
The Advent-Journey Katschberg is free and accessible only by foot!
