A ride with the horse-drawn carriages and the horse-drawn sledges is always a very special experience. Of course, this also includes a stopover in the quaint and cozy ski hut Protzhütte.
The Pritzhütte is located in the centre of the Gontal nature reserve. Relax and enjoy the most breathtaking scenery on a horse drawn sleigh ride through this peaceful and tranquil alpine landscape.
With 2 horsepowers we take you from the Katschberghöhe to the Pritzhütte. After a break for guests and horses, it goes back to Katschberg. So that in winter, during the journey, nobody gets too cold, the coachman provides with a cozy blanket for the external warmth and with a schnapps for the inner. You can also rent a private carriage / sledge for family or friends, or have a carriage / sled for a special event.

Daily at 11:00, 12:30, 14:00, 15:30, 17:00 and 18:00 hours, trips from the village center Katschberghöhe take place. Of course, these contacts can also be used to arrange private trips. Sign up for a Romatic Adventure at the hotel reception desk, at the tourist office (+43 4734 630) or directly at +43 664 28 44 583. You will be directly picked up in front of the hotel!
Night rides at 17.00hrs and 18.00hrs. Private sleigh rides are also available.
